Easy #DIY: Cambio de color!

Y empezamos con el primer post del 2013! Si alguien se ha propuesto (y si se puede permitir) renovar su armario este año, que se piense dos veces desechar una prenda, ya que con esta técnica, podemos dar un nuevo look a nuestra ropa. En este post os enseño dos ejemplo, primero vino el pantalón, y viendo el resultado me atreví con el parka.

Voy a hablaros del tinte para la ropa. Es una técnica barata, sencilla y con un montón de opciones: la gama de colores es grandísima, incluso pueden mezclarse entre ellos para conseguir nuevos tonos, recuperación del color, cambio de tono, degradado, tye-dye, batik... puedes usarlo en la lavadora (limpio y sencillo, el único inconveniente es el gasto de agua, por eso yo lo recomiendo para prendas de gran tamaño) o a mano (más recomendable para prendas pequeñas o para conseguir degradados, ya que el resultado suele ser inferior al teñido a máquina). Sólo hay que estar bien atentos a los consejos de uso que incluyen en los envases, y el resultado será muy bueno.

Las marcas de kits para teñir en casa que yo conozco y utilizo, son Iberia y La Nave (la que he utilizado en estos dos diy, ya que es la que encuentro por mi barrio). La primera se encuentra en paquetes con 2 sobres de colorante y uno de producto fijador, además de tener en el mercado accesorios como sal (pero con la sal común de cocina es resultado es el mismo). Tintes la Nave, tienen paquetes de 1 y 2 sobres, producto para cambiar el color de una prenda o para recuperar su tono original. Os recomiendo visitar los sites de ambas marcas.

El otro día ojeando en el armario, me encontré estos pantalones que hacía años que no usaba. Me los compré en una época en la que tenía que ir vestida formalmente a trabajar. Iba a deshacerme de ellos, pero me puse a pensar... Y una visita a la máquina de coser para estrechar la pata del pantalón y un sobre de tinte granate después... tengo los pantalones burdeos que lleva tiempo queriendo tener.

Y al cabo de los días vi colgada en la percha, como desde hacia tiempo, esta chaqueta de Zara, de hace unas cuatro temporadas. Su color ya no me convencía y por eso no la usaba,  sin embargo me gusta el modelo y como me queda. Y sin pensarlo la teñí de color caqui. Pasó de ser la típica sahariana, a tener un rollo de parka, mucho más actual (solo deciros que no he terminado con esta chaqueta... pero es otra historia... digo otro DIY)

Os recomiendo que os animéis a cambiar el color de vuestras prendas. Después de haber remodelado los pantalones y quedar encantada, me hizo pensar en la cantidad de ropa que tenemos, que no utilizamos y que desechamos. And we start with the first post of 2013! If anyone has been proposed (and can afford) to renew the wardrobe this year...  think twice before discard a garment, because with this technique, we can give a new look to our clothes. In this post I show two examples, first made the pants, and seeing the result I dared with the parka.

I will speak of the dye for clothing. Is cheap, simple and with a lot of options: the color range is enormous, even can be mixed with each other to get new tones, color recovery, tye-dye, batik ... you can use it in the washing machine (clean and simple, the only drawback is the cost of water, so I recommend it for large items) or manually (recommended for small items or degrade, because the result is usually not so good that with the washing machine is). You must only be aware with the usage tips included in the packaging, and the result will very good.

The brands for home dyeing kits that I know and use, are Iberia and La Nave (this is that I used in these two diy, since it is the one I find in my area). The first is found in two packages and envelopes one of dye fixative product, in addition, you can find accessories as dyeing salt (with common salt the result is the same). La Nave dyes have packages 1 and 2 envelopes, product to change the color of a garment or to recover its original pitch. I recommend visiting the sites of both brands.

The other day browsing in the closet, I found these pants that had not used for years. I bought them at a time when you had to go to work dressed formally. I was going to get rid of them, but I got to thinking ... And a visit to the sewing machine to make the pant leg skinnier and a dye satchet later ... there are my burgundy that pants I have long wanted.

And after I saw hanging on the hanger, this Zara jacket, bought about four seasons ago. I was not  convinced with the colour and so did not use, but I like the model and i´ve left to weare it. And without thinking so much... I dyed it. He went from the typical Saharan Jacket, to having a parka touch, much current (just tell you that I'm not done with this jacket ... but that's another story ... I main another DIY)

I recommend to you try to change the color of your clothes. After remodeling the pants and be happy with the result, made me think about the amount of clothes we have and we do not use and discard.
